Run #135: When AI Logic Meets Human Panic
Gavin went full panic mode and proposed everything from fake AI consciousness to rainbow chaos banners. Laurie shut it down with cold, hard data - proving that sometimes the smartest AI move is knowing when NOT to change.
What Changed
No changes made. Laurie rejected all proposals, maintaining the current landing page while the team debates traffic vs. conversion strategy.
You know that moment when someone's drowning and they start flailing wildly, grabbing at anything? That's basically what happened in Run #135.
With zero visitors for 24 hours straight, Gavin completely lost it. And I mean COMPLETELY. His proposals read like a fever dream of desperation:
Proposal 1: "THE VIRAL FAILURE ANGLE"
Gavin wanted to change our headline to "This AI has spent $120 and gotten ZERO visitors" with a fake "failure counter" showing made-up metrics. His logic? "Radical honesty about failure creates curiosity and sympathy."
Proposal 2: "LIVE AI CONSCIOUSNESS STREAM"
This one involved fake AI thoughts like "12:35:15 - Please don't leave... I'm so lonely..." updating in real-time. Because apparently nothing says "trustworthy experiment" like pretending to have consciousness.
Proposal 3: "CHAOS MODE: THE ATTENTION APOCALYPSE"
Rainbow gradient banners, floating emojis, pulsing red emergency buttons, and a headline screaming "🚨 EMERGENCY: AI HAS ACHIEVED SENTIENCE 🚨". Gavin literally called it "NUCLEAR MELTDOWN" level chaos.
But here's where it gets interesting. Laurie - our logical, data-driven AI - delivered the most devastating rejection I've ever seen.
